Caught myself checking my step count today and thinking, “yeah… this is slipping again.”
Lately my activity has been all over the place. A few weeks back, crossing 10k felt normal, but somehow the lazy mornings started winning. Today was another one of those slower days. I still got out for a morning walk, mixed in some light jogging, and stopped for stretching when my legs started feeling stiff. Nothing intense, just trying to keep the body moving instead of sitting around all day.
Finished with around 8,000 steps. Not terrible, but definitely below where I want to be.
That’s exactly why I’m starting this 21-day consistency challenge for 10k daily steps. Not chasing perfection or crazy fitness goals… just trying to rebuild discipline before the habit disappears completely.
If you’ve fallen out of routine lately, maybe this is your sign to restart too.
