Day 1 always sounds bigger in your head than it actually is.
After a few lazy weeks and step counts slowly dropping, I finally decided to stop talking about getting consistent again and just start. Went out early this morning with no big plan—just walk, jog a little, stretch when needed, and keep moving.
Started with a calm walk while the roads were still quiet, then mixed in light jogging once the body warmed up. Took a short pause for stretching halfway through because my legs felt tighter than expected. Funny thing is, once I got into the rhythm, the whole thing felt easier than the excuses I made yesterday 😄 Ended up finishing the morning with around 13,000 steps.
I’m realizing consistency probably comes from lowering the drama around starting. Just show up and let the routine rebuild itself.
