Day 3… and this is usually the point where I start negotiating with myself 😄
Good day folks 😄,
Woke up thinking maybe I should “rest today” even though I knew that was just laziness trying to sound reasonable. Got outside anyway. Started with an easy walk while the morning was still quiet, then mixed in some light jogging once my legs loosened up. Took a break for stretching near the park because the body’s definitely feeling these past few days now.
The funny part is, the hardest moment was before leaving the house. Once I got moving, everything settled in naturally. Ended up wrapping up the session with around 13,800 steps, so the challenge is still on track.
I’m starting to see that consistency isn’t really built during the easy days. It’s built on the mornings when you almost skip.
If you’re trying to build a routine too, don’t focus on perfection. Just protect the habit.
