I love watching football and have always been an Arsenal fan.
I'm not a die hard football fanatic and obviously don't allow my love for football become my priority.
Football is another form of entertainment and should not be a do or die affair, after all every footballer gets paid the contract amount whether the team wins or loses.
Outside J J Okocha and Alhaji Diof of Senegal, I do not think they have been any footballer that has entertained me when on the pitch.
I love those guys. Lionel Messi came a bit close but I haven't been entertained by him. C Ronaldo isn't even close, he is too rigid for the type of football I like.
Not until I watched Mohammed Salah display some amazing skills on the pitch.
Salah is the Rashidi Yakini of Africa, He moves at the speed of light and is found in places where the opponents defense squad can not predict.
I've never watched any Champions League game before in my life. I watched yesterday's game not just because I am opportune to but because Mohammed Salah was going to play.
I wanted to see the only man that made Egypt qualify for world cup for the first time since 1990. I wanted to see Africa shine on the global stage.
Those of you who watched yesterdays game will agree with me that Sergio Ramos's tackle on Salah was not just a wicked act but was the cause of action a coward will take.
Cowards find cheap means to solve a problem. Cowards lack the fortitude to stand on character. Cowards don't look for the enemies weak points because they are busy focusing on the strength of the enemy.
Football is not for the chicken hearted but for the courageous. Most men love football because it gives them that competition mentality while most women love Romance movies because it gives them that emotional mentality.
Yes Real Madrid won the tournament but does it look as if they truly deserve the victory?. My answer is no!.
Some like what Ramos did to Salah but what if you are Salah, how would you feel. When integrity and fair play is not the guiding principle behind the exploits of a man, he won't leave a history that future generations would be proud of.
Obviously in the minds of those that does not like what Ramos did to Salah, they will say that Salah was not giving a fighting chance and was tactically eliminated but would Ramos be able to live with that on his conscience.
For the fact that he eliminated Salah the way he did, shows that he is a coward and unable to handle Salah. It further proves the point that Salah is not just a rising star but an honest footballer.

In life you can be ruthless but that ruthlessness will eventually catch up with you. Do unto others what you would have them do unto you.
What is the purpose of this long epistle. Never be a Sergio Ramos while you go through life be a Mohammed Salah.
Cowardice does not pay. Live a life worthy of emulation so as to leave footprints in the sands of time.
History doesn't forget honest and courageous stars.
Shalom!
