Three Purple Irises

These irises were just some of the many I photographed on my visit to the RHS Garden Rosemoor in Devon.

There seemed to be a lot of purple ones and I wonder if this is the most common colour for them.

Some might argue that this one is white but, as far as I'm concerned, purple is the dominant colour! ~ ~ ~ ~

This iris is the type of iris I remember from my childhood. We had it growing in our front garden. 😊
