Killerpix Contest 41 - Boats: PHILIPPINES' NATIVE FISHING BOAT

This photo was taken July of last year when we visited the Fish Port of General Santos City, Philippines, the tuna capital of the country.

Believe it or not, this kind of boat caught the largest yellowfin tuna display, as certified by the Guinness World Record. The monster of the deep weighed 25,594.49 kg and was caught on September 11, 2014.

We walked into this port area, and I had goosebumps, imagining that I would meet these giants face-to-face in the deep blue sea! These are some of the fishes that this boat caught.

These boats are at the middle of the ocean, sometimes for weeks, withstanding storms, in order to catch tunas.

I know, I have much to say, but actually Hive account@killerwhale only need where and when the picture was taken. Hahaha! 😂😂 Sorry about that. This is my first entry to #Killerpix Photography Contest, initiated by none other than Hive account@killerwhale.
