My juice fast is finally coming to an end. I made up a pitcher of guava, mango and pineapple juice for a nice, sunny pick-me-up. I sipped on that until this afternoon when I made up my typical green juice made from green apples, kiwi, celery and various greens. Although I felt pretty good all week with only a couple bouts of fatigue that I fended off with a smoothie here and there, I couldn't wait to finally eat some real food.

For dinner, I made portabella mushroom caps stuffed with a spinach and sundried tomato pesto and a little salad on the side. I was amazed at how full I felt after only a few bites but I still managed to finish it all. While I don't feel slimmer, I definitely feel healthier than I have in a while. I'm hoping I can keep up with it, at least in the mornings.
Thanks to everyone who has followed me on this week-long journey. If you're interested in juicing then check out the video below for some basics.
