We all have these wounds to some extent
Our inner child still cries sometimes
And that’s when you need to step in to comfort her
Let her tears flow like rivers on her cheeks
It’s pure healing, when you cry in the right company
Childhood traumas seem to hurt more than anything else
Like deep holes in our souls, like something was stolen from us
My dear child, what happened to you, who did they make you become?
You can spend a whole life time blaming others
Parents, siblings, friends, bullies, teachers and relatives
Or you can take back the control over yourself and your life
And demand yourself to pick yourself up
The blame game is something that you will never win
Stand up for yourself, put clear limits for other people
Try to understand, forgive, and move on with your life
Don’t dig too deep and too long in your childhood traumas
It’s just your own grave that you’re digging
Find a way to get over it all, and when you’re done
Rarely look back there, focus on the now and the future
Stop ruminating over your past, it’s gone, never coming back
