Throw Back Thursday Series, It's my 6Months Anniversary on Steemit: My Journey so far.

Hello my Steemit Family and every other person...
It's another Beautiful Thursday Morning here in Nigeria. Guess you had a Pleasant Night, cause mine was great....

Woke up this morning, just thinking of a post and realised its the 28th of June.
What a coincidence, 27th of December 2018, I joined this platform, to that.. Its officially my 6th month on Steemit..

Wow!!!, it's my 6months Anniversary on Steemit.

It's been a great time on steemit, my journey here for the past 6months has being one with lots of stories.

It all began in September with so much doubt about the platform, I just didn't want to believe anything good could come out of it. Finally decided to join in December.
December 26th, I registered and on the 27th, I was approved. Thus the beginning of my steemit journey, thanks to Hive account@nmalove.

Writing has always been a part of me though not commercially or professionally but Personally.
Writing to me has been all about my experiences, moments, dreams and goals and it's comes with my state of mind. To this, I felt I could cope and share my life and experiences on steemit.

I took time to study more on writing on Steemit, followed people, tried to make friends before making my First post. The outcome of my introductory post wasn't what I expected, but I didn't see it as a problem. With the help and encouragements from Hive account@nmalove and Hive account@casweeney, I never stopped writing, though I wasn't consistent but I tried to keep my blog going.

Abuja Meet-up, My first Breakthrough

It's no news that to go far on steemit, Socialisation is one major key, thank God for Abuja-Meet up with Hive account@nmalove and Hive account@casweeney, I was opportuned to learn more about steemit, meet and make friends with both new and reputable Steemians.
I had the privilege to meet and interact with the guests for that day, Hive account@ejemai, Hive account@ehiboss, Hive account@gbenga, Hive account@nairadaddy, Hive account@fisteganos, Hive account@destinysaid, Hive account@michealcj. They all gave wonderful speeches and encouraging words, great meeting them.
I met with other Steemians like, Hive account@iconnelly, Hive account@ty-rex, Hive account@damascene, Hive account@dee-y, Hive account@korexe, Hive account@oguns, Hive account@mimy, Hive account@floral....

It was a remarkable experience, the Selfie contest gave me my 1st major earning, where I got the highest upvote. It was fun...

I can't forget the lovely treat from Hive account@nairadaddy after the meet-up, an all expense movie day out at Silverbird Cinema, Shopite where we saw Black Panther. Thanks Hive account@nairadaddy, it was so nice meeting you....

NYSC Invasion
With the Love to make impact and promote Steemit among Youth. In partnership with Hive account@casweeney, "NYSC Steemit Invasion" was introduced (initiated by Hive account@casweeney). The whole idea was to get Serving Youth Corp Members aware of opportunities in Steemit, with Kaduna state as our focus.
One 14th Feb, we kick started the program with NDA Youth Corpers, we made appearances in several CDS groups in Kaduna state. This program went on for a month and due to some issues, it was kept on hold.

This project was a team work, comprising of myself, Hive account@casweeney, Hive account@happoculturation and Hive account@rasheedyazi.

This project boosted my public speaking ability and thus, a motivation to my many dreams.

I've had times of ups and down, times of discouragements, times when I just wanted to end it all.. Both I still try to find that courage of not quitting..

Through posts from some Steemians, I found the courage to strive, Hive account@ejemai, Hive account@ogoowinner, Hive account@tojukaka, Hive account@chiama, Hive account@jacobite, Hive account@gloglo and others, most of your posts have being great motivations, your upvotes have being encouraging. Keep doing great, kudos!!!

My comeback post, (here) showed me how much I had missed on steemit, the love was so much, it was encouraging. Writing has been fun from that day...

This is to all those feeling discouraged here.
No one says it's ever easy, don't stop writing, get familiar with people, attend meetings on discords, go for meet-ups, seminars.

Quitting should not be an option.....
