The MILITANT Church Ep. 5
Dear Steemians,
At 3 PM Central/ 9 PM London time, MSP Waves will broadcast our 5th Episode of the teaching: The Militant Church.
Militancy in the World vs Godly Militancy
Militancy, as far as the world is concerned, often means violence and oppression, war and murder.
Godly Militancy means standing up for what we believe and do everything with conviction, in faith and trust of God.
Steadfast
I love the unchanging nature of God's word. God is the only person that will never fail us nor forsake us.
I learned in my young Christian life that the more we trust the Lord, and stand on His Word, the easier we can overcome the challenges thrown at us in this fallen world. Intimacy with God is required. Please know: Intimacy only comes from spending time with God. We achieve that with constant prayer and supplications, by studying His Word, by loving this Word.
I will take only a few things with me when I leave this country in two weeks time. But I will take my bibles with me - my most precious possession.
Most Precious
Leaving the world I have known behind to embark on yet a new life-adventure, a new culture, a different language doesn't worry me. For I put my faith into God. I listen to the Holy Spirit who directs me, shines His light on my path. Open eyes, patience, trust in the Lord (Proverbs 3:5-7) and prayer... I am secure in the Lord.

- militantly take a stance for God and His righteousness,
- develop a militant voice,
- go out militantly and we looked at the enemies of militancy.
Today
Today, we charge ahead with the Militant Church Series. We shall explore:
- How to resist the enemy militantly
- How to love militantly
- Seven losing attitudes
Those losing positions/attitudes apply to anyone, especially to Christians. I am excited about today's show. Please join me, Chris, today from 3 PM Central for a good dose of God's Word.

12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
Don't be caugt off-guard by the enemy. Equip yourself. Be pepared.
