Replacing the Macbook Pro retina 15inch (mid 2012) Battery
I recently bought battery of MacBook from ifixit.com. Of course, I ordered a replaceable kit too, and it has arrived safely. For the first time in my life, I used malltail website which is a famous shipping agency. Shipping fee isn’t expensive and I think it is fine. I think I will use another product next time.
So let me change the battery now
You will need
- a bettery
- rechargeable battery kit
- a good thread
1. Disseminate laptop floor cover
2. Separate battery contactor

You segregate connector like this
Loose a screw like this
3. Input solvent
You should tilt your laptop before putting a solvent into it.
Use a syringe to put solvent. Put it with small amounts.
4. Remove the battery
Thread is easier than the enclosed card. Put the thread between the batteries and pull with both hands. Pull out the left and right force as if to saw.
Remove 2nd pack of battery.
Remove the adhesive. This process takes a long time.
5. Installing the new battery
Before inserting a new battery, do not remove the cover. You should make sure that computer works well first and then do it. After it is done, you can assemble it in the reversal order.
After fully charging it, reset it. It is late today, so I am gonna have to do it tomorrow. It takes time to fully charge it, you know?
Anyway battery works well.
