Rainy spring morning
Saturday morning I was up just after 6AM and got a load in the dishwasher. I got my post up and then started setting up for seed starting. My #1 intern came down around 8:30AM and brought the materials upstairs then left to do a painting job. It was to rain all day and be in the 50’s.
Later I got the kitchen cleaned up and got started.
I got the trays laid out and then decided to sit down and do the notes and seeds. I discovered I’d made the same mistake for the 3rd time: writing in small pots where large ones were needed. I’d also written down I needed 15 tomatoes when I really only needed 9. Sigh… So in the end we used the same number of trays.
I got all the markers written, even though I’d lost the bag full of the ones I’d wanted to use. Everything was done, so I set about filling pots and soaking the soil. When I’d filled all the trays on the counter, I went and sat down to wait for my #1 intern to return at noon to do the seed starting.
We finished about 2PM and got the kitchen wiped down and cleaned up. I sat down and watched ‘My Favorite Martian’ until bedtime.
On Sunday, my brother said he’d help me get 6 more windows done in the morning. That ought to do me in.
