On Sunday morning I got up late, after 7AM. I fed the nearly expired cat and got started on my post. I realized that the “full size” photo was missing many of the markers I put on. So I set about fixing that and in the meantime, I fixed the mistakes. (In the night on Monday night I realized I’d never put in the things that run along the north side of the map….sigh…) That took a couple hours and then I rested a while.

Next I started on the seedlings, thinning, making notes, and I watered the storage onions. Then I realized I needed to feed them all and it was too much. So I went to rest a while. Later I got a load of dishes in the dishwasher.
My #1 intern was up around noon and headed out in the rain for a run. When she got back, she next headed out to drive go-carts at the local place with siblings and friends.
They all ended up coming back here and hanging out and making supper. Then we all sat down to watch the next installment of ‘Pride and Prejudice’.
I’d gotten the fires made or laid and the shades pulled as the cold had returned and was in bed by 8:30PM.
Big garden – garlic up
On Monday I was up around 6AM and got a load of dishes in the dishwasher. I got a shower and headed out to exercise class.
It really wore me out and all I wanted to do was nap when I got home. But I had to make lunch and while I waited for it to cook, I got the dishwasher emptied and refilled.
I had lunch and then finished cleaning up the kitchen. Then I sat down to rest. I was supposed to have PT mid afternoon but it was cancelled.

I got the seedlings fed and then started watering the house plants. I got the living room done before the contractor arrived at 3PM.
We set to work on the right side living room window and soon had the repaired supports in place. Then we moved the seedlings and lights to the new window so he could finish the window on the left side.

The huge amaryllis had been in this window and I had to find a place for it. I ended up moving 2 plants back into my brother’s room and putting it on the shelf in the sewing room.

We got cleaned up and I made supper after he left. I got the stoves going and shades pulled and my #1 intern and I watched the 5th installment of ‘Pride and Prejudice’. I was in bed by 9PM.
On Tuesday it starts to warm up, but not enough to do gardens. I have to clean up the kitchen, finish watering the house plants, finish the laundry, and my helper friend will be here at 10:30AM. He has a few chores to do and then I’m hoping he will be up to inventorying the Tonka garage. He also has shopping to do. Then I have an appointment mid afternoon.
