South Korean exchange Korbit announced the withdrawal from trading cryptocurrency DASH, Monero (XMR), Zcash (ZEC), Augur (REP) and Steem, reports Bitcoin.com Oh?
"We will say goodbye to the service of Other Digital Assets through the gradual cessation of the possibility of buying and selling the following coins: DASH, Monero (XMR), Zcash (ZEC), Augur (REP) and Steem," the popular Korean exchange said in a statement.
The ability to purchase the above cryptocurrencies will stop on may 28; the sale feature will be unavailable to users on June 21. Detailed reasons for delisting are not called.
However, the management of the exchange does not exclude the re-inclusion of these digital assets in the listing.
"We strive to make cryptocurrency trading safer and easier. We still have to decide on the date of the resumption of operations with these coins," Korbit representatives note.
Thus, soon only a few "top" and less oriented on the anonymity of cryptocurrencies will remain in the listing of the South Korean exchange, including BTC, XRP, ETH, BCH, ETC, LTC and BTG.
