There aren't a whole lot of romantic comedies in my repertoire of favorite films and to be fair a lot of this movie is not comedy it's mostly just a touching story or collection of touching stories that are all told really well.

It also doesn't hurt t hat there are a ton of stars in this movie. There are so many in-fact, that the movie poster misses out of telling us about a lot of them. So if you don't know anything about Love Actually, it is a collection of non related stories, various aspects of types of "Love" that each set of people has in their lives. Some is romantic, some is family, and one is coming of age. They are all really endearing and well, if you don't appreciate at least some of them I think there is something wrong with you on an emotional level.

The main thing I like about it is the fact that it doesn't feel cringe at any point and not all of the stories are happy ones. I know that I give Laura Linney a lot of hassle because I don' think she does well in Ozark, but she is phenomenal in this story. To be honest everyone is pretty amazing.

The was one story I didn't like and this is a rather minor spoiler but i'm not going to apologize because it is rather evident really early on. One character who is played by the Sheriff in Walking Dead (don't remember his name, sorry, not a fan of the show) and he is basically stalking this one woman. The problem is, this woman is married to one of his best friends.

I know it is fiction but don't you think it is a little messed up to secretly tell your best friend's wife that you are in love with her? I don't think that makes you a romantic, I think that makes you a terrible Judas of a friend.

It has a Christmas theme to it and that is why I have waited until now to talk about this one. I think it is one of the most perfect romantic comedy movies ever made and I have watched it many times and would gladly do so again. As a matter of fact I think i will do precisely that at some point before drinking this afternoon.
