Greetings to all my fellow travelers in this community—I wish you all the best as the weekend begins.

Today, I’d like to share some photos from a lovely journey I took through the waves from Tucacas to Los Juanes Beach, passing by Tucupido Beach along the way.

It was a trip organized by the company where I work to reward us for our hard work, and honestly, it was a real treat.

We arrived at the Tucacas pier in Falcón state around 9 a.m. and boarded the catamaran “La Bambola,” bound for “Los Juanes” Beach and “Tucupido” Beach, which are part of Morrocoy National Park.

During the trip, the guide provided information and explained the nautical route we would follow through the mangroves, which are clearly visible and form a well-defined navigation channel. He also told us that the trip to Los Juanes Beach would take between 20 and 25 minutes and described the full extent of Morrocoy National Park, as well as the key points of interest along the way.

The catamaran is a two-story boat with a capacity for 80 people; however, since it was the off-season, there were only 25 of us that day, including my coworkers and a few others. It has restrooms, music played by a DJ, refreshments, and an area where you can walk around and even dance. The cost per person is $40.

We made our first stop at Bajo Los Juanes, and the first things you see are the boats moored there and people enjoying this “natural pool,” because the water is shallow and the bottom is just soft sand where you can walk and play. It’s especially great for kids.

When we went down to the water, the first people to greet us were the street food vendors with their “floating stalls,” offering seafood such as shrimp, squid, and salads, with prices ranging from $15 to $25 per plate.

Fortunately, the weather was ideal for boating and enjoying the sea and the sand. The bright sunshine and the warm waters of this beach make it an excellent choice for a fantastic weekend getaway.

On the way back, we made another stop at Bajo Tucupido, another natural pool, but this one has the unique feature of having very white, soft sand at the bottom and quite pleasant water temperatures. It looks like a huge pool built by nature.

At some point along the way, the captain steered the boat toward the Cave of the Virgin of the Valley, and we saw it from a distance because the water is shallow there and the boat can’t get too close.
There is a statue of the Virgin Mary there, and there’s a cave where fishermen pay their respects to ask for safe passage and a good catch.

That wraps up this lovely outing, which helped strengthen bonds among coworkers and provided a well-deserved break.

Un paseo a través de las olas a playa los juanes

Saludos a todos los amigos viajeros de esta comunidad, les deseo lo mejor en este comienzo del fin de semana.

En esta oportunidad les quiero compartir imágenes de una bonita travesía que hice a través de las olas desde Tucacas hasta la playa Los Juanes, pasando también por la playa Tucupido que queda en el mismo recorrido.

Fue un viaje planeado por la empresa donde trabajo con el propósito de premiar nuestra labor y la verdad que fue un verdadero regalo el que recibimos.

Llegamos al embarcadero de Tucacas en el estado Falcón, a eso de las 9 de la mañana y nos embarcamos en el catamaran "La Bambola", con destino a la playa "Los Juanes" y playa "Tucupido" que pertenecen al parque nocional Morrocoy.

Durante el trayecto el guia nos informaba y nos explicaba la ruta náutica a seguir a través de los manglares que se aprecian y dejan un canal muy marcado de navegación. De igual manera nos indicaba que la duración del viaje estaba entre 20 y 25 minutos a la playa Los Juanes y nos indicaba toda la extensión que tiene el Parque nacional Morrocoy, así como los puntos importantes que se encuentran en todo el trayecto.

El catamarán es una embarcación de dos pisos con capacidad para 80 personas, sin embargo, por ser temporada baja, ese día íbamos 25 personas entre mis compañeros de trabajo y otras personas más. Cuenta con baños, ambiente musical dirigido por un D.J, servicio de hidratación y un área donde se puede caminar y hasta bailar.

La primera parada la hicimos en el bajo Los juanes, y lo primero que se visualiza son las embarcaciones estacionadas y las personas disfrutando de esta "piscina natural", porque el agua tiene poca profundidad y el fondo es solo arena suave donde se puede caminar y jugar. Es especial para los chicos.

Al bajar al agua, los primeros en recibirnos son los vendedores ambulantes de comida con sus "cavas flotantes", ofreciendo productos del mar como camarones, calamares, ensaladas cuyos precios oscilan entre 15 y 25 dólares el plato.

Afortunadamente el tiempo estaba muy favorable para la navegación y para el disfrute del mar y la arena. Un sol radiante y las tibias aguas de esta playa la convierten en una excelente opción para pasar un fin de semana de altura.

De regreso hicimos otra parada en el bajo Tucupido, otra piscina natural pero esta tiene la particularidad de poseer en el fondo arena muy blanca y suave y la temperatura del agua bastante agradable. Parece una gran piscina construida por la naturaleza.

En alguna parte del trayecto, el capitán dirigió la embarcación hacia la cueva de la virgen del Valle y la vimos desde lejos porque tiene poca profundidad y la nave no puede acrcarse demasiado.
Alli está la imagen de la virgen y existe una cueva donde los pescadores rinden tributo para encomendar su viaje y su pesca.

Hasta aquí les dejo este bonito paseo que sirvió para estrechar lazos entre compañeros de trabajo y tomar un merecido descanso.
