Quise hacer el ejercicio de elaborar estas décimas para concientizar en el día de la tierra, por un problema que nos afecta a todos: la explotación ilegal de los recursos naturales que acaba lentamente con nuestro ecosistema. Espero sea de su agrado.
Hoy me levanté confiado
con pensamiento profundo,
hoy quiero cambiar el mundo
como muchacho porfiado.
Porque aquí por este lado
la gente ya no comparte
indolente se reparte
nuestra bonita riqueza:
la madre naturaleza,
nuestra gran obra de arte.
No basta con el lamento
ni con la queja constante,
hay que seguir adelante
con sobrado fundamento.
Que se convierta en sustento
cada semilla sembrada,
pues la tierra maltratada
pide a gritos un cuidado:
un corazón renovado
y una conciencia educada.
Contaminan nuestros ríos,
se llevan nuestro recurso.
Si no cambiamos el curso
nos quedaremos vacíos.
Solo terrenos baldíos
gigantesco basurero
nos dejará el extranjero.
De una cosa estoy seguro
para cambiar el futuro
debo yo cambiar primero.

Warm greetings to all my friends at
I wanted to try my hand at writing these ten-line verses to raise awareness on Earth Day about an issue that affects us all: the illegal exploitation of natural resources, which is slowly destroying our ecosystem. I hope you enjoy them.
Today I woke up confident
with deep thoughts,
today I want to change the world
like a stubborn boy.
Because here, on this side,
people no longer share;
indolently, they divide up
our beautiful wealth:
Mother Nature,
our great work of art.
Lamenting is not enough,
nor is constant complaining;
we must move forward
with ample justification.
May every seed sown
become sustenance,
for the mistreated earth
cries out for care:
a renewed heart
and an educated conscience.
They pollute our rivers,
they take our resources.
If we don’t change course,
we will be left empty.
Only barren land
and a gigantic landfill
will the foreigner leave us.
Of one thing I am sure:
to change the future,
I must change first.
