Hello hivers, What I love in these community is I can express my feelings and thoughts…Let us start….
“True friendship isn’t about being inseparable; it’s about being separated and nothing changes.”
Back in high school, we were just schoolmates, familiar faces passing in the corridors, sharing quick smiles, not knowing that life would someday draw us closer. It wasn’t until we all found ourselves in the same profession, finally permanent as teachers, that we truly bonded. Shared stress, silent support, endless lesson plans, those became the threads that tied us together. With that shared journey came the gift of presence. We didn’t just work side by side; we chose to grow together outside the classroom walls. We made time for each other, knowing how rare and precious that truly is.
We made time for each other. I still remember that quiet beach day
where we laughed like we had no burdens, sitting barefoot in the sand, throwing peace signs, and forgetting the world. Then there was that highland escape
, high above the clouds, where we laughed harder, talked deeper, and took in the view—not just of the mountains, but of how far we had come in life.
But as life often does, it led us in different directions. Two of us flew across oceans, now teaching in America, while the rest remained. And yet, nothing changed. We still find ways to reach out—late-night calls, random photos, simple messages that say, "I miss you."
Life is precious when we have time to talk more endlessly without tomorrow. Those rare reunions remind us of that truth—like in that joyful photo by the sea, surrounded by our children, who have now grown close just like we did. The cycle continues, the bond grows stronger.
We may be scattered across countries and time zones, but our friendship endures. We don’t need daily talks or constant updates. We only need hearts that never forget. And ours never will.
