In the past couple of days, we have had a crazy amount of snow here on the northern Estonian coast. In fact, areas around the capital of Tallinn now have the deepest snow in all of the countries. Depths boing over half a meter and most of it fell within 24hrs and flooded the streets.
I don't mind shoveling and love snow in the winter. Here are some long-exposure photos taken in the dark.
This crazy snowfall was a result of the sea effect. Due to cold weather sea evaporates because it's warmer. Evaporation creates clouds and wind pushes them on the coastal areas and the nonstop heavy snowfall happens. These clouds don't go much into inland and disappear soon after arriving at the coast.
Here is my cat, in the snow, I brought him outside. I don't think he particularly likes it and tried to find the fastest way back to the house 😅.
Took a couple of shots out of the windows today also, It was a really nice sunny moment.
Went to the beach also but doing a separate post tomorrow about it.
