Dopogara per il GP dell’Azerbaijan.
Che gara spettacolare abbiamo visto a Baku! Già poteva bastare vedere le monoposto sfrecciare a oltre 350 km/h in pieno centro abitato, ma noi volevamo di più. Ed eccoci accontentati: scontri, tamponamenti, safety car, gomme lacerate, ecc... in pieno stile circuito cittadino!
Vettel partito il pole position è stato sempre davanti con un ottimo passo gara. Stava per andare a vincere, quando un “lungo” negli ultimi giri gli ha fatto perdere qualche posizione, finendo così in quarta posizione. Le due RedBull, dopo una serie di spettacolari contatti e sorpassi, si sono eliminate a vicenda quando Ricciardo ha tamponato Verstappen. A questo punto Hamilton, Raikkonen e Bottas si ritrovano all’inseguimento di Vettel. Dopo l’errore di Vettel, Bottas si ritrova primo, ma fora un pneumatico a pochi giri dall’arrivo a causa di detriti in pista. Hamilton vince la gara, secondo Raikkonen, terzo Perez, sempre molto costante con la sua Force India.
La classifica del mondiale vede Hamilton a 70 punti, Vettel 66, Raikkonen 48, Bottas 40, Ricciardo 37.

After the Race Grand Prix of Azerbaijan
What amazing race in Baku! It was not enough to see the cars running at 350 km/h in the middle of the city. We wanted more, we had more: crashes, safety car, broken tires and so on… as usual in a city track!
Vettel started in pole position and kept it by a good lap timing during the race. He was going to win, but lost some position due to a wrong turn, getting the 4th place. The two RedBull, after a series of spectacular contacts and overtaking, have eliminated each other when Ricciardo crashed into Verstappen’s car. In that time Vettel was followed by Bottas, Hamilton and Raikkonen. After the Vettel’s error, Bottas is 1st, but he broke a tire in the last lap. Hamilton wins the race, 2nd place for Raikkonen and Perez 3rd with the Force India.
