I think my ambition was outstripping my talent on this one. It may be edging into poetry territory, rather than Zapfic - but I'll chuck it into the ring anyway. Someone may enjoy what I was trying to get to!!:)

The Network.

The network does not work. Our Dirk would get work and not shirk, if the network would let work be set fair. And the pet berks that yet lurk like wet murk around the right folk weren't set perks because they sit right in the network.
