Does anyone know why the Drugwars rewards have doubled?

Today, after logging into Drugwars, I suddenly noticed that my daily reward went up from 2 FUTURE to 5 FUTURE. (Woohoo!)

Then I saw that the rewards seem to have doubled from 8%, 2%, 2%:

I couldn't find any announcement from Hive account@drugwars about that, so let's hope this has been done on purpose and that it is sustainable. After all, it's not so transparent whether all of the rewards actually stem from bought and spent FUTURE tokens (which would be hard to imagine), or whether these are tokens taken from the reserve. After all, there's only 1bn FUTURE according to the blackpaper and at this rate they could be used up quite quickly. In return, this would mean that the rewards wouldn't sustain that payout rate and there would be another outrage about the next cutting of rewards.

Anyone knows anything?

In any case, I'm trying to make the most out of it for as long as possible. Let the fights begin!
