Hello Fellow Steemian Gamers,
I hope you are all well and happy to see that I'm back again with another gaming product review for you all and once again it's from my favorite gaming peripherals company Razer.
At this point you are probably thinking that i have bagged myself some sort of sponsorship with these guys because i'm always promoting their gear. This is not the case I just really love their products and I am happy to post a review in hope that other people decide to buy them as well.
In this review i'll be looking at the Razer Thresher Xbox One Wireless Headset, Razer BlackShark 7.1 Gaming Headset and a snazzy Razer Mouse Rest.
First see below the image of the box and all the items inside.
So as you can see from the above image it's all crammed in there and from the date of my order it only took 4 days to get to me, looking at the tracking info it was sent from Hong Kong so 4 days is pretty fast really.
Now the reason I ordered this package in the first place was because I wanted the Razer Thresher Xbox One Wireless Headset, I already owned the Turtle Beach 420x but as a Razer fan boy I just had to have the Razer headset in my collection.
The headset was £149.99 in total and as I was checking out I was presented with an offer that said If i spent £159.99 i could get the Razer BlackShark Headset for free with an RRP of around £140 itself.
I thought it was too good to be true but I added the Razer Mouse Rest to my cart and BOOM!!! the BlackShark was added free of charge.
Below are images of the Thresher box front and back you can see the specs on the back of the box.
The Thresher boasts a lot of awesome features and out of the box feels great on your head. the cushioned ear pads are designed for long hours of usage and cancel out any side from outside of the game so don't expect to be able to chat to people in the room while wearing these.
Below is an image of the Thresher inside the box...
A sleek design that is easy to use, like most Razer products it's connect and go, you don't need to install and software the XBOX ONE picks up the signal and your off.
Next is the BlackShark which comes with a fun story attached, I actually already own this headset and have done for around 4 years, it was and still is the best PC headset I have ever had but unfortunately my partners pet rabbit decided to chew through the cable. I kept the headset but it didn't really work properly and I thought I'd never get another one due to them cutting the production of this particular model.
Now you can see why I had to jump at the chance to get this offer, the thought of having a brand new one in my possession was awesome and I couldn't let this go to waste.
Below are images of the BlackShark front and back...
The headset is modeled after a helicopter pilots headset and again is designed for long periods of use. I can tell you this really is one of the best headset for PC offering audio quality not only in the ears but also from the microphone, I will be recording a video today using the microphone so you can hear the quality of the audio.
At the point of taking these photos I had not removed the BlackShark from the box so don't have any unboxed photos. I opened it today and I was not disappointed.
Last below is an image of the Razer Mouse Rest that I literally only ordered to get the BlackShark...
.
Not much to say here it does what it says on the tin and provides fantastic wrist comfort when using your PC Mouse.
I know I haven't gone into a huge amount of detail with this review but I can assure these products do not disappoint Razer continue to release quality gaming products at affordable prices and I would recommend them to any one on here looking to upgrade.
I hope you like my review please feel free to ask any questions in the comments...
