Matthi
Well I have been bit busy with my schedule so I haven't posted from 2days.. now I'm back with two of our Indian snacks...
And the recipe is almost same and just the shape changing... me and my mom cooked them together and I clicked these pictures with my Xiaomi Redmi Note4 mobile camera.
So let's start with Namak Paray
Salty, Crispy, Crunchy Snacks
Namak Paray
Ingredients :
Refined Flour, Cumin & Carom Seeds and Ghee (Clarified Butter) or Refined oil to deep fry them.
Method :
Mix the flour with 1big spoon ghee/refined oil and light warm water.
Then when the flour is ready then make some balls of that flour and then take those balls one by one and roll them in the shape of chappati.
Then cut the roll into small rectangular or square shape and separate each pieces. And then let them dry for 10 mintues.
Then take a pan to fry them. Put some oil/ghee and let it heat to fry. Then put those cut pieces into the heated oil and deep fry them.
And then put them out with help of perforated spoon when they turn brown as fried colour.
You can store them for atleast 2months in some air tight container.
Fried Namak Paray
Same frying recipe is used for these salty snacks called Matthi in India.
We just add Kasoori Methi ( Dried Fenugreek Leaves ) in its ingredients.
It's taste makes the Matthi more delicious.
