The morning began with a simple breakfast and a cup of hot coffee, always my best friend before starting my day. The morning air was quite fresh and the atmosphere was still calm as I prepared to deliver bread to several of my favorite shops around Krueng Geukueh, North Aceh Regency. This route was the longest in the past week, requiring extra energy and enthusiasm from the morning.
The journey to deliver the bread was a pleasant experience, as I could see the bustling community. Several shops had already opened their doors early in the morning, and vendors were busy displaying their wares. Despite the considerable distance, the journey felt lighter due to the bright morning atmosphere and the lively streets.
After all the bread had been delivered, I took a short break before heading out that afternoon to visit the rice fields. The atmosphere in the rice fields looked different than it had been a few weeks before. More land had now been harvested, and the expanse of rice fields was beginning to change color.
The farmers were busy completing the harvest before the season changed.
Seeing the rice fields empty after the harvest brought a sense of calm and gratitude. The farmers' hard work can finally be enjoyed after enduring various weather challenges during the planting season.
The gentle afternoon breeze adds a peaceful feel to the rice paddies, making for a truly enjoyable end to the day.
