One of the activities that can be categorized as always being done when the holidays arrive is sightseeing, sightseeing or tours are best if carried out together, both with all family members, playmates, and workmates. When the boarding school holiday arrived, we were a group of friends, consisting of 7 people, rented an Avanza for 2 days to play in Lamno, Aceh Jaya, Aceh Indonesia. We departed from Samalanga, Bireun, Aceh, Indonesia, to have an excursion there, either to visit Po Teumereuhom's grave, and to the restaurants there.
The journey from Samalanga, to the destination took approximately 8 hours, we visited many places, so it took a little longer, among the places we stopped were the city of Sigli, Banda Aceh, and Puncak Gurute.
The opportunity coincided with the momentum of our teacher's marriage, namely Tgk H Iqbal Jalil, he was our repeat teacher at the pesantren. We arrived at one of the mosques in Lamno, because we were the first to arrive, so we waited for the groom's group who had not yet arrived, we also got a call from our teacher to pick him up, that's where he wore Aceh traditional clothes for the wedding reception.
The groom's entourage had all gathered, we went to the event venue, after a long time there, about 2 hours more, we also asked the teacher's permission to eat one of the more popular restaurants there, owned by our leting brother at the boarding school, the restaurant named Guritno, with a favorite menu of octopus.
There, we discussed where to go after this, we agreed at that time to go to one of the Islamic tourist attractions most visited by residents there or pilgrims, the tourist destination is the tomb of Sultan Salathin Alaidin Ri'yat Shah or more familiarly called Po Teumeureuhom Daya. Po Teumeureuhom's tomb is located in Jaya District, precisely in Gle Jong Village. Maybe a minority of us are already familiar with the name Po Teumeureuhom. Po Teumerehom is a cleric with the lineage of the Mandate King who went to Lamno to carry out the bleaching of Islam in Lamno, which at that time was considered impure. The government situation at that time was so chaotic that when Po Teumeurehom arrived in Lamno, he was able to create glory for the Lamno people in the economic, religious, political, social and so on. We arrived there, and we went on a pilgrimage to read Surah Yasin at the tomb, after that we also participated in discussing the history of Po Teumerehom, which was explained directly by the tomb guards there. After that we agreed to rest the night there.
The next day, we went home from Lamno to the city of Banda Aceh, when we arrived at Mount Gurute, we got out of the car to take some pictures for our documentation.
