The new feature has been added during the last maintenance window. Now login on Splinterlands site is also rewards. The development team has added the Lux's Favor where players can spin the wheel to claim the daily rewards.
Every day one spin will be rewarded when player will login to the site. The player got the chance to get Frontier Energy, Pit Fight challenge and Sparks, Sparks is the new currency introduced in the game. What you can do with the Sparks? You can spend the Sparks at the newly added Spark shop, Avatar Items and Card Skins are available at present as purchasable items, as per information more items will be added in future. So what you get from the Spin the Wheel?
I have made two days streak and on first day received nothing but on second day received three Frontier Energy. I am excited about the Card skins and the Avatars. I must have sufficient Sparks for the purchase. I remember form the last townhall the team has discussed about the Vin and Mags Skins & Lore partnering with Brave Tofu. The team is treading it not just a skin or costume, they are like representing the different life stages of the character.
As a player, this makes me more emotionally attached to my collection. I'm not just holding stats; I'm holding a piece of the Splinterlands history.
Foundation Pack Opening
I am holding more then 70 Foundation packs earned form the daily game play and daily rewards. I am not opening all at once, opening one number for 5 number at once is always a fun. I am expecting some rare cards, especially the Archon cards as I am waiting for remining Archon cards which are short for leveling up then to next level. Decide to open one pack and try my luck. Below is the screenshot of cards pulled from the pack opening.
The pack opening was cool as received a good cards form packs, one rare cards form one single pack and its a Archon cards, that was awesome. Thalgrimore is form Death Splinter and still need five more copies for upgrade the card to level 3. I am not able to review my collection yet as I am sure that with present cards also I may be able to upgrade at lease one Archon.
The Electro Fox card is really a must have card in your collection if you have plots or participating in land. This will be a card with passive income option when placed on lands and linked the Electroneum wallet.
I have not linked the wallet with Electroneum but may be able to create one this weekend.
Following three Legendary Cards (form Neutral, Death and Water splinter) pulled form previous season loot chests. Kulu Matermind looks awesome and Drybone Raider looks dangerous. Waiting for Gold Foil Legendary.
Rental Earnings
Rental earning are not good as most of the cards has been moved to lands. This season the rental is almost zero. Card are more productive on lands in my opinion.
In last season earned56 DEC token as Rental Income using the Splex.gg.
