SUMMARY
Here is a weekly chart of IBM spanning multi-years. Can you see any fractals? Spotting fractals takes practice. Analogous patterns occur at all degree of trends and can be very helpful in determining direction of upcoming moves.
I've boxed the Fractals (blue and white). They overlap slightly. Can you spot the completed fractal in the blue box and how the second one in the white box is developing?
Let's go point by point; usually the inflections. The blue fractal has the blue ABCDEFG points marked. How many of these marks has the fractal in the white box completed?
I believe the A,B,C and D are placed and that leaves E,F and G. The yellow line indicates a sizable upward move for IBM. Would you be a buyer or seller of IBM at current levels? Would you be a short term or a long term holder of IBM? Perhaps even subscribing to its DRIP (Dividend Reinvestment Plan) could be advantageous.
