The Rice that's produced for personal consumption or for sale. The photos I showed in this post is an innovation in the rice milling service that I met in pariaman district, west sumatera, Indonesia. and the Machine as follows:
conventionally, farmers bring their crops of rice to the rice milling center here called "heuller". to get the service farmers have to remove the cost of transport from the rice barn to heler then from heler to their home. but with this service, they help to reduce operational costs.
Here's how this machine operates:
Rice is fed from the top, then automatically milled by the machine
The operator set the rice down to the machine
Rice ready to be consumed out of the bottom funnel
For the cost of this milling service, usually for one sack of rice is paid with one "sukek" of rice or 1.5 kilograms or in accordance with the bargaining made by the service provider with the owner of the rice.
