Now it’s the hot season, which we call summer. During this time, everyone suffers more or less because of the heat. But the heat feels much more bearable when you have watermelon by your side, haha!
One of my most favorite fruits is watermelon. I really love it. Since it is summer now, there are plenty of watermelons available in the market. If you notice, you’ll see that the market is currently full of watermelons.
The best part is that the price of watermelon is now comparatively lower. Earlier, it used to cost around 100–120 taka per kilogram. But now, it is being sold at around 40–60 taka. Since it is a seasonal fruit, you can enjoy its original and natural taste, which was not always available before.
I looked at several watermelons. The shopkeeper said they would be very sweet. However, it’s always better to check before buying. So I tasted a small piece first. After tasting it, I realized the shopkeeper was right the watermelon was indeed sweet. Then I bought one and brought it home from the market.
