This beauty of a lake is the "'Saiful Malook" located near the town of Naran in the Saiful Muluk National Park. Situated at an elevation of 10,578 feet this is one of the highest lakes in northern Pakistan.
The lake hosts many species nd brown large trout are the most famous one. The lake was named after the prince Saiful Malook who fell in love with Princess Badri-ul-Jamala here. A fairy tale named Saif-ul-Muluk was penned by the Sufi poet Mian Muhammad Baksh.
