Hello my friends on Steemit.I’m going to travel South America on 27 this month, I’m trying to complete every visa stuff for my trip. While waiting for approval of embassies, I set up Schedule for South America and List of destinations I want to visit over there. I would love to share with you guys the South America Wish List – Desirable destinations in Peru.
Peru is an amazing and unique country in South America I love to visit the most. It is known as “a must visit” if you travel to Western hemisphere. The adorable Peru is famous with every traveler not only about that Inca ‘s legend trail or mysterious ruins in the top of mountain but also about distinct culinary, culture, people,... in every corner of this country. You guy can take a look in the list I have just made below. I’m gonna visit all when I travel Peru.
1. Machu Picchu
Source
I think it is not hard to see why Machu Picchu appears as the first one in my list. When people think about South America, they think about Machu Picchu – the ancient city of Inca Civilization. It is considered as one of the best known and most visited tourist destinations in Peru, even in South America.
Being one of 8 Wonders of the World, Machu Picchu is a must visit in my bucket list. It is coolest place to visit and show off about. Even though I have not show any thing yet, I’m still able to imagine how jealous my friends will be. Lol. Is there anything envy – inducing more than a photo taken in top of Machu Picchu? Absolutely no.
2. Lima
Machu Picchu seems too outstanding. It causes other destinations including Lima less impressive with tourists. Lima is current capital of Peru and known as one of the largest cities in South America. A lot of travellers tend to skip this city or just stay a few short days before taking a flight to Cuzco. But I want to spen at least 4 four days in this city. When I travel somewhere, I always want to learn indigenous culture. I think the best way to learn is exploring culinary and dipping into local’s life. Lima, as a largest city, it would be an ideal place to try Peru cuisine and get to know lifestyle of local people.
3. Cusco
Cusco is a beautiful city, in a beautiful valley, in a beautiful country. Unlike any city in the world, Cusco is a famed city of Inca empire and has its own distinct beauty. Result from influence of Inca construction and history, It brings a unique feeling for every visitor. From the streets and architecture to the people and their clothing. There is no shortage of things to do and see in Cusco. Spend few days in Cusco then take a train to go up Machu Picchu. It will be a reasonable schedule.
4. Titicaca Lake
Titicaca is the world’s highest navigable Lake. It is a large, deep lake located in the Andes on the border of Bolivia and Peru. I will visit this one in the last day in Peru then move to Boliva to continue my South America Journey. People believe that Titicaca is birthplace of the sun. It is connected closely with many mysterious stories of the Andean’s ancient culture.
