A couple weeks ago i discovered another huge park in Bangkok called Railway Park and i do think this park has not been opened so long ago i do remember that area having lots of old warehouses with a lot of overgrowth all over them and apparently old trains where kept in them old warehouses hence how it got it's name Railway Park. Well not anymore the whole area has been cleaned out and a beautiful public park been put there.
As i walked towards one of the main gate entrances it must have been the middle gate of this huge park i could not see either ends of this park as far as my eyes could see i thought to myself ...WOW...another one of these parks that i will have to visit sereval times to be able to see every part of it. So walking through this gate this is what hits you first a beautiful arrangements of white orchids glaring at you hugging these stubbs of tree trunks.
This i thought was going to be a wonderful day orchids i love and the way they were displayed made it even more exciting for me i took a deep breath because it was already breathtaking seeing all these elegant orchids amongst all this beautiful lash green gardens.
The idea of hanging these beautiful orchids of these banyan trees was just brilliant the banyan tree already has a lot of character but with these orchids hugging these trees just sent it to a completely new level.
And to brighten my day even more i had a surprise visitor a beautiful two tone color squirrel which i had never seen one in this combinations of color i had to be quick with the camera as you they move fast a little out of focus but he did stop for a split second to pose for a shot and him or her glancing straight at me....how cute....and off he or she went.
Myself i think it's just beautiful the way they make use of old tree trunks and trees thereself to have plants either hugging around them or growing all the way up the tree trunk just gives them so much more beauty and character.
By this time i had already spent about 4 hours in this park and had only covered a fraction of the area it was getting late afternoon and them monsoon clouds were starting to appear as every afternoon i could see a gate in the near distance i needed to head out before i got showered on but one last thing that caught my eye on my way out was these beautiful yellow orchids staring straight into my eyes almost blinding me but so pretty had to take a few shots of these before leaving this awesome colorful park....But i will be back.
