KEY WEST FOOD
Key West has so much delicious food we couldn't decide where we wanted to go at all. There were a few places (like Sloppy Joe's restaurant) that I had on my list, but most other places were just a google away "food near me". Haha. Also, my Sloppy Joe's post will be separate from this one since there are 3 branches I wanted to display! Today, I will be displaying four places we visited. I unfortunately didn't get pictures from the Amigos Tortilla Bar and in the pizza place I only got the wall mural. Lol. The Amigos Tortilla Bar was delicious, I highly recommend it! Anyways, here we go!
Better Than Sex
I saw this on google and it was immediately my first choice. It is a very seductive restaurant, if you know what I mean... Dim lights, red velvet curtains and walls, etc. Me and my friend felt a little awkward about it because it seemed like we were a couple. Lol. It is a dessert restaurant with an insanely good menu. Even the alcohol is dessert like! I ordered the left hand milk stout (a personal favorite) with a white chocolate rim and the Cookie Nookie Pie. I will be returning next time. Haha.
Fat Tuesdays
I saw this and thought: "Hey, noon is a good time to start drinking". This time I got a Banana Daiquiri and my friend Sean got the Hurricane. It was good, not spectacular. There are several frozen drink stands all over the island. Since it is acceptable to drink on the streets you can take them to go! Don't forget the floaters of rum!
Key West Key Lime Pie Company
I visited this place in about 10th grade. Had to come back on this trip because I believe that this is the best key lime pie you'll find in Key West. There is another place called Kermit's that is supposed to be pretty good as well. Not only did me and my friend get a piece of pie, but some of the assorted candy you see above. Coconut clusters, chocolate covered berries, and orange rock candy... Mmmmm. Yeah.
