It is time for
with the community. #Marketfriday has opened my eyes to see many places which I have never been and probably can never go but able to visit them virtually. It is initiated by
, come check it out!
Last night I went to a mall bazaar in Pavilion in the city center of Kuala Lumpur. Usually, I don't come to this part of KL a lot because of the traffic and its parking fee is really expensive here. But a friend who was transiting in KL asked for a favour to have a box for her items to be checked-in. So I happily went to deliver a box to her and pass her a birthday present too as her birthday is coming and thinking to have a meal with her as well.
As we were walking in the center court of Pavilion, I saw they were having this interesting bazaar selling different types of things, from ornaments to plates, to some clothes, textiles, portrait drawings etc. So I went down to take a look.

This is the first stop where I saw textiles for the Muslims to make their clothes on display.

Then I saw this artist painting portraits live. I did not dare to disturb her so I just took a few glances.

This is a stall with carpets. It reminds me of the flying carpet in Aladdin haha.

More items from "Aladdin". Hahahah some magic lamps perhaps? Look at these delicate works of the fine ornaments.

These are some Malay clothings that have been sewn. It is still their Raya month technically.

Plates with very artistic designs from the Middle East.

There were more but I think some private companies may have reserved the space below for their private function as I know some people dressed in corporate wear hanging out and mingling with media. Hence I did not move nearer to them.

I think they have decorated this bazaar really well. EVERYTHING LOOKS SO PLEASANT TO THE EYES!

I want to share with you my most intrigued finding- this weaving machine. I know what it is but I have never seen once before hence I was really checking this out.

After the sky turned dark, I walked out with my friend to check out the iconic street crossing area outside the buidling withh their large LED display. We can see the crowd is starting to come back. It is a good sign.

That market walk was a feast to the eyes. So many things to see! I dare not touch them as they look so delicate and fragile though.
This was indeed quite a rare night out with my friend. Usually if I do meet any friend up, it is usually in the day. It brings back some memories of me going out at night with friends during the university days hahahha. Yeah, this mama usually starts putting her boys to sleep after 8pm. Once in a blue moon, this actually felt good. Thanks to the husband and mum-in-law taking care of the boys at home for me to have some time out.
