Hi Steemit! I am so discouraged, frustrated and confused as to what is happening here at Steemit. I believe we all came to this site to try and make money, however for the past several days I feel we are all writing our blogs for nothing. I'm fairly new and try my best to make the most creative post I can. But when I spend 4 to 5 hours on a post about my cooking and after 2 days I have made $2.00, really???? I'm not saying that blogs that are just thrown on Steemit with no content should receive the same amount of upvotes, but this is getting ridiculous. Everyday I go through every post and read and upvote and resteem as to how I enjoyed that post, but people this isn't working. I'm going to give you an example and I hope the
member doesn't mind me using their name. 14 hours ago I looked at a post 
I would like to say to whomever came up with this idea to maybe wake up and smell the coffee. Steemit is great but if something doesn't change this way things are being controlled by certain whales, your going to start losing a lot of us small minnows. As I see it know your making us squirm for dollars. The amount of time alone it takes to make one post never mind 4 post and make absolutely nothing for my time WHY??????? Mu suggestion is Whales maybe start upvoting again to save the world of Steemit! If anyone else out there feels the same, please voice your concerns and please do it soon. GOOD LUCK TO ALL!!!!!
