In yesterday's post, I gave a link to the album, I produced for Krishna Janmashtami.

This one is the last track from the album. It is one of my favourite tracks from the album.
The brief given to me for this entire album was that it has to be dance-able - not in a club kinda way - but a mix of contemporary and classical forms of dance.
The artist is working with a dance group to put together a performance on 10-12 songs, like a full show in a theatre.

This is one of the first songs I started working on and I am glad it came out well.
The beat is carefully crafted from different elements which combine electronic drum kits, ghatam and mridangam samples.
Though this is a devotional song, I wanted it to be something different and I am glad the artist liked my approach.
I am sure there is no one else doing this kind of production in a devotional music space :)
