December walk on the mountain Sandmofjellet 15.12.18.
The hike up to this little peak on 357 m. is 8 km, the terrain gradually rises up to the highest point. The snow was around 20 cm deep, but was quite hard, and ski or snowshoes was not necessary. On this 3 hours hike we had sunrise and sunset, but no sun over the horizon. During the polar night the sky get beautiful colours towards the north, away from the sun.
