When I'm out wandering the city with my camera in hand I can never resist the empty multilevel carpark
I will enter, ride the lift to the top floor so that I can see the city from a different angle, get up amongst the buildings, maybe look over the edge (although maybe not, I don't love heights)
And more importantly the top floor of the multilevel car parks are always empty, particularly on a weekend and there is something cinematic about an empty carpark.
The desolation, the scale, the loneliness.
Maybe it's the possibility of what could be
I mean why don't the people in cars keep driving to the top and see the view?
