Reparación de bocinas! // Horn repair! (ESP/ENG)

Volvemos con mas mantenimiento! el dia de hoy es una reparación básica y digamos algo rápida o esa era la teoría, ya que un trabajo se convirtió en algo problemático por malas reparaciones anteriores!

Back with more maintenance! Today is a basic and let's say somewhat quick repair or that was the theory, as one job became problematic due to previous bad repairs!

Comenzamos a reparar la bocina delantero pero primero tenemos que desarmar ahora si vamos con el proceso de sustitución de tasas y balines.

We started to repair the front horn but first we have to disassemble now if we go with the process of replacing rates and pellets.

Empezamos por sacar la rueda delantera y desde ya se puede observar lo mal armada que está la rueda el conjunto completo se estaba desarmado estaba en un punto donde la rueda se movía para todos lados haciendo imposible su uso.

We started by removing the front wheel and you can already see how badly assembled the wheel is, the whole assembly was disassembled and was at a point where the wheel was moving all over the place making it impossible to use.

Para dar un buen diagnóstico y saber que en si tenia que cambiar toca desarmar para ver qué tan grave es el daño, les adelanto es mucho.....

Como pueden ver estaba en un estado terrible sin balines y las tasas vueltas nada ahora sabiendo que piezas necesito es hora de comenzar la restauración de esta bocina para dejarla óptima para el uso diario.

Tasas y balines nuevos para corregir por completo el desgaste que tenía la bocina ahora bien prosigamos con su instalación.

Luego de haber retirado las viejas tasas ya que no tenia los balines es momento de poner las tasas nuevas las cuales entran a presión en la bocina de nuestro rin, luego de hacer esto de ambos lados podemos proseguir a colocarle grasa para montar los balines que en este caso use balines medianos ya que son tasas grandes las que estoy montando.

After having removed the old rates since it did not have the pellets it is time to put the new rates which are pressed into the horn of our rim, after doing this on both sides we can proceed to place grease to mount the pellets that in this case use medium pellets since they are large rates which I am mounting.

Luego de esto vamos colocando los balines de la siguiente manera hasta completar la circunferencia de la tasa.

After this we place the pellets in the following way until the circumference of the cup is completed.

Nos tiene que quedar exactamente así de ambos lados, para que el trabajo se vaya completando de la manera correcta

It must look exactly like this on both sides, so that the work is completed in the correct way

Puestos ambos balines de ambos lados tenemos que proseguir a montar los tapa polvos y ajustar los retenes o para mantener todo el conjunto armado, en este sistema a diferencia de las bocinas de rodamientos, el eje no puede quedar muy ajustado debido a que al apretar demasiado fuerte el eje contra la masa este no va a funcionar bien y va a ser muy duro el movimiento, el ajuste correcto se podría decir que un poco flojo de ambos lados, y lo suficientemente apretado para que el conjunto se desplace con libertad sin desarmarse

In this system, unlike the bearing horns, the shaft cannot be too tight because if the shaft is pressed too hard against the mass it will not work well and the movement will be very hard, the correct adjustment could be a little loose on both sides, and tight enough for the whole assembly to move freely without disassembling.

Apretamos los sostenes del eje contra los guardapolvos de las tasas, para asegurar el conjunto y ya con esto estamos listos para montar el rin de nuevo en la bicicleta.

Tighten the axle brackets against the dust caps to secure the assembly and we are now ready to mount the rim back on the bike.

Ponemos el rin de nuevo en la bicicleta y apretamos en este caso con una llave 15mm de la siguiente manera en este caso ya que si su bicicleta usa clavos como la mia el proceso es diferente.

We put the rim back on the bike and tighten it in this case with a 15mm wrench as follows in this case because if your bike uses nails like mine the process is different.

Apretamos de ambos lado, estas tuercas si deben ir bien apretadas para no dejar el rin flojo ya que se puede salir, ya me ha pasado y no es nada divertido por suerte fue en mi bicicleta y no otra de algún cliente ya que no hubiera sido nada lindo.

Tighten on both sides, these nuts must be well tightened so as not to leave the rim loose because it can come off, it has already happened to me and it is no fun, fortunately it was on my bike and not another of a customer because it would not have been anything nice.

Para el que no conozco la diferencia del sistema de clavo y el de tuercas el de clavo se ve de la siguiente manera.

For those who do not know the difference between the nail system and the nut system, the nail system looks as follows.

Cerciorados que quedo bien ajustado proseguimos a probar el rin a ver que tal gira y el resultado debe ser el siguiente !

Once we were sure that it was well adjusted, we continued to test the rim to see how it turns and the result should be as follows !

Todo el conjunto ya armado debe girar con esta facilidad debe estar igual de libre como se ve en el siguiente gif

Ya podemos dar por complido el trabajo ya la bicicleta esta nuevamente lista para salir al ruedo ahora si el trabajo se concluyó de manera satisfactoria !

We can now consider the work completed and the bike is ready to go out again, now if the work was completed satisfactorily !

Ciertamente el trabajo concluyo bastante rapido y no fue tan complicado a pesar del deterioro de las piezas anteriores por una mala reparación ya con este trabajo realizado garantizamos que la rueda nos va a durar mucho tiempo mas y aun mucho tiempo mas cumpliendo con su mantenimiento periodo, el cual seria cambio de grasa y reajuste.

Certainly the work was concluded quite quickly and was not so complicated despite the deterioration of the previous parts by a bad repair and with this work done we guarantee that the wheel will last us much longer and even longer fulfilling its maintenance period, which would be change of grease and readjustment.
