I'm Helen, Business & Life Strategist working predominantly (although not exclusively) with female entrepreneurs to grow their businesses whilst working towards living a life that makes them happy, is fulfilling and incorporates all the key important aspects for them. I'm also a single mum to 2 boys, H who's 13 and K who is 7, who are both home educated. And I'm a feminist and women's officer for a local branch of the Labour Party.
I love making plans, working out how to achieve them and then refining and tweaking as we go. My superpower is talking and articulating things verbally, as most of my clients and friends will testify! The work I do with clients covers everything from marketing to money blocks, systems to self care - I am a firm believer that running a business is one of the best ways to really get to know yourself and uncover all your trigger points (alongside parenting!). Working with clients on a 1-1 basis and in small groups means I can offer really tailored solutions to the issues they are facing.
Alongside work, I have been radically unschooling my boys for the past 6 years when H left school (his choice) and am now coming to the somewhat tricky exam stage. We are having regular discussions about the best way forward, what exams we think are absolutely essential, whether he wants to take them all in one go or spread out over the next couple of years. He doesn't have a burning desire to follow any particular career path yet so we are focussing on getting him through the ones he's likely to need regardless of where he chooses to specialise.
