Doing a job you love which involves hands on crafts is very much different from digital work. Hands on craft allows you to focus your attention in a more healthy way which includes the fact that you have to deal with physical materials to achieve the particular goal.
My point actually is that when you are doing an entrepreneurial job as I would put it as against hands on craft which includes sewing, jewelry making, dIY and so on, it allows you to work with physical materials such as fabrics, threads and so on. In doing this you notice that your brain tends to work more efficiently and helps you focus. However, digital works has you focusing your mental capacity on screens and bright light these can also be mentally satisfying.
The prompt for this week allows us to differentiate between how entrepreneurial works and digital work helps to relax the mind. In this case However, handcraft involves you to repetitively carry out certain actions that keeps your brain active as a human being.
Assuming you are a tailor, you would notice that it takes process to achieve a particular design. This means that your mind and body at the same time takes a break from overthinking because assembling the materials and everything to make a particular dress look beautiful and perfect can almost feel as if you are meditating.
However, digital work can be the Direct opposite because your brain is in a constant state of doing one particular thing over and over again.
