These are difficult times and our charity level is being tested by the economic situation of things in the country. As we are all aware, life is taking a different turn for everyone and things are not how they used to be before. I remember one time i made it a point of Duty to always give burgers that I find on my way because i see them as people that need help but these days it has become so difficult because we account for every amount of money we spend to the last bit.
Our charity level is being tested as people because of the way things are difficult in our present world, what I'm trying to say is that there are no jobs to fund people's lifestyle employment is scarce, the economy keeps getting worse by the day, inflation is getting high. Hence, people have withdrawn from the way they assist others.
In essence, i really do not blame people that don't offer assistance especially financially to anyone these days because it is hard to believe oneself of monies that has been budgeted for. Just last week a friend asked me for some amount of money, just because I did not want to say no I had to beat it down to a reasonable amount that I know I will be able to give and forget.
As we all know people can be funny at times when people ask you to borrow them money and promise to return it the next day it takes them a week or more before they get it back to you to borrow them money and promise to return it the next day it takes them a week or more before they get it back to you. In essence our charity level is being tested to the extent that refusing to help people is no longer a bad thing because it has because a strategy to survive.
