The question of if I would use hive without rewards is one that poses so much concern because one of the major feature of the Hive blockchain is to post quality contents and because your content is good you would receive a vote that counts as a reward for your effort.
Imagine if this is taken away, it would be like a waste of time and effort because there are other platforms where you can invest your time in writing not even long form content and with your consistency and hard work you would get paid for what you do.
Even with the fact that we are still using hive and we are getting rewards, the rewards are not something good to write about or to introduce to other people because the system is not totally open to some people.
There are some people that can write quality contents and when you see the kind of rewards given it's not even up to one cent. This is discouraging and like I said yesterday in my blog most people have defaulted from this platform because they were not encouraged.
So using hive blockchain without getting rewards would be me deceiving myself even though I am not totally dependent on the reward aspect but for my effort at least something should come in no matter how small or big. One of the major selling points of Hive blockchain especially to newcomers is the fact that they can earn in crypto and can also eatn a stablecoin that can be used for real life expenses.
In conclusion, if the Hive blockchain the sides to cut out rewards to members trust me performance rates would be so low and if care is not taken the platform will be abandoned.
