Resuming back to work this new year was something all the staff in my department felt because the holiday took a better part of us and that weak it took a while before reality dawned on us.
We all had the Spirit of the holidays in US and getting out of bed to prepare for the morning hustle to our places of work was tedious. But in all we had to balance work life and physical well-being and the ability to get paid for work done.
To be honest, it is never easy for 9:00 to 5 to completely balance their work life and their physical well-being except you are discipline and determine in your lifestyle and welfare process. Somehow, we only have Saturdays and Sundays do you properly focus on ourselves and to be honest even some of our jobs take a better part of the Saturdays on most occasions.
By balancing work in our physical well-being it means that as human beings we care for our bodies but internally and externally while taking care of daily activities. As we all know health is a major Factor in determining if we will be able to work or Hustle. As human beings when we do not take care of our health and our body is it reduces productivity that is why when we have good health other things would follow suit.
There are different ways to balance your work and taking care of your health and well-being in general and one of these is to set a clear boundaries between when you work and went to rest.
For instance, in the facility where I work a doctor collapsed and died on the spot will you believe that the next week he had been replaced by another doctor to take on his job. So in essence, if you do not take care of your health and struggle to do jobs you would be risking your life and if anything happens to you trust me a replacement is on ground.
I do not joke with my sleep at all and as our doctors and medical practitioners always say it is advisable that we get 8 to 9 hours of sleep consistently, as it will help to manage stress. Also, eating healthy meals such as veggies, fruits and so on, can help to keep you fit and also stay productive.
