Hiking involves physically demanding outdoor treks, unlike casual walking, it emphasizes performance metrics like distance, speed, elevation gain, or technical difficulty.
In the part of Nigeria where I live, Ekiti State precisely, hiking is that one perfect sporting activity to engage in.
This state is characterized by hills and valleys making hiking activities fun. In the course of my daily hiking I realized more energy is expended when going up hill and less energy expended when descending. You tend to feel the impact more on your legs particularly around the hip and butt
It’s the perfect excercise for weight loss and general body fitness.
