I am behind I am behind , I am behind, I am behind I am behind, I am behind !
I want to move forward
Okay… now move!
You feel you are behind but the real question is behind who?!
Look it’s just something very simple and you are stuck for a very funny reason, in fact you are not stuck but you just feel so!
Do you know that unfinished things have a way of staying in your mind longer than completed ones?
I am sooo sorry to tell you all this but yes! It is true! I know your teachers wont even tell you, but I will for free just for the love of #hive and the community lovers.
You always feel stuck or stagnant when you have too many things on an open loop, and its normal for every human to feel that way.
That’s why I always tell my friends and acquaintances whenever we speak to do one thing at a time and that brings productivity and efficiency especially in this beautiful ramification that we take pride in which is #education.
You may still be wondering, what is Herod saying right now or what does he mean?
But here… clearly, leaving tasks half way and doing something else weakens our mind and takes a away some reasonable percentage of our peace because at that moment or those moments we always tend to think about the unfinished course, assignment or project that we currently have open in hand meanwhile we forget that there are a whole lot of stuffs that we have finished that may even be greater than what is at hand now and the thought of unfinished tasks weigh us down a bit and weakens our thoughts and productivity.
I don’t blame anyone because not all of us can handle that, not even me but we are getting there!Tasks you didn’t finish, decisions you delayed and even some of the conversations that you avoided all sit quietly in the background and what does that do to us?
Like an android phone it eats up our ram or memory and doesnt allow us to think well, we could even gi hit in temperature like our phones.
Even when you are doing something else, a part of your mind is still holding onto them and guess what? That’s exactly where the mental weight comes from.
It’s not always about how big the task is, sometimes even small unfinished things create stress because they remain open and not that they matter all the time but the presence and thought of it does something to us.
What’s the simple solution ? Closing those loops! It’s not easy but when we do it gradually brings a sense of relief and it clears space in your mind and makes it easier to focus on what matters.
Sometimes peace does not come from doing more but simply from finishing what you already started and what happens when you do that?
Youll be more effective and no more complain of I am behind I am behind , I am behind, I am behind I am behind, I am behind ! I want to move forward.
Reduce your mental weight today !
