Nate Dee
We begin this tour with this mural by Nate Dee featuring the iconic slogan "Make Art Not War". The two portraits are perfect for introducing the style of this Miami artist, with geometric shapes giving the work a very interesting effect.
On commence cette balade avec cette murale de Nate Dee avec le slogan iconique « Make Art Not War ». Les deux portraits sont parfaits pour introduire le style de cet artiste de Miami avec des formes géométriques donnant un effet très intéressant à l'oeuvre.
I haven't been able to identify the artist who created this mural. But the style is truly interesting. The background is almost pointillist, contrasting beautifully with the figure in the foreground. Another interesting detail is how the seashell he's blowing into is seamlessly integrated into a pipe. This unsightly element is thus cleverly concealed, cleverly incorporated into the mural.
Je ne suis pas arrivé à mettre un nom sur l'artiste qui a fait cette murale. Mais le style est vraiment intéressant. Le fond ressemble presque à du pointillisme avec lequel le personnage au premier plan contraste. Autre détail intérressant, le coquillage dans lequel il souffle intégre parfaitement un tuyau. Cet élément disgracieux est ainsi bien caché, intégré dans la murale.

At the intersection with 29th Avenue, we find Alec, also from Miami, using the Monopoly character. I don't know if it's a critique of our current consumer society or if he's fully embracing it. Tell me what you think by checking out his Instagram account.
Au croisement avec la 29ème avenue, on retrouve Alec, lui aussi de Miami qui utilise le personnage du Monopoly. WESR
Upon arriving near the Graffiti Museum, most of the shops and restaurants display works by internationally renowned artists such as WESR aka Danny Figueroa, a Peruvian artist based in Berlin. The culture of this country is recognizable in his masks and the various types of corn stalks.
En arrivant près du Musée du Graffiti, la plupart des boutiques et restaurants arborent des oeuvres d'artistes reconnus dans le monde entier comme WESR aka Danny Figueroa, un artiste péruvien basé à Berlin. On reconnait la culture de ce pays avec ce masque ou les épis de différents types de mais.
