Saludos amigos, espero todos estén muy bien.
En esta oportunidad paso por acá para relatar que mi hija mayor este año sale de la escuela básica y va rumbo a la secundaria, realmente el tiempo pasó super rápido.
Al pasar de los años en las escuelas de acá han adoptados ciertas costumbres de otros países, este es el caso de la revelación de franela de promoción, dónde se realiza un acto con los estudiantes, profesores y representantes, en una caja totalmente cerrada se coloca la franela y luego se abre para ver el modelo de la misma, por supuesto previo a esto, ya los representantes habíamos elegido el modelo y todo lo que debía ir escrito en esa franela.
Porterior a esto, se va llamando a cada uno de los estudiantes y el representante le coloca la franela, en nuestro caso, mi esposo y yo fuimos al acto y le colocamos la franela a Anna Paula.
Luego de haber pasado a todos los estudiantes, se les entregaba las franelas a las profesoras encargadas de dar ambos grados y al final se les entregaba a los padrinos de promoción, que este año, para sorpresa del padrino, los estudiantes eligieron al señor que limpia en la escuela, que es importante resaltar que no solamente se encarga de la limpieza, también los conoce a todos, siempre está dispuesto a apoyarlo, a jugar con ellos y hasta darle un consejo, así que, en lo personal me pareció genial que lo hayan elegido a él, en este acto se le vio bastante contento y conmovido A la vez.
Luego de esta parte protocolar, los estudiantes se fueron a un salón donde ambas secciones realizaron un compartir, nosotros como padres decidimos dejarlos a ellos en conjunto con sus padrinos y profesoras para que hablaran comieran, bailaran y se divirtieran un rato.
Realmente fue un rato muy agradable, a nuestros niños les encantó, lo disfrutaron al máximo, estuvo cargado de diversión, risas, abrazo y emotividad, porque hubo dos niñas que me causaba impresión la manera en qué lloraban, no sé si era porque no estaba su familia, si la persona que pasoy a colocarle la franela no era su mamá o si simplemente era muy emotiva jajaja, lo cierto es, que de igual manera se lo disfrutó.
Dentro de poco es la graduación de manera formal, dónde mi hija pasará a la secundaria de manera formal con su grandiosa camisa azul, eso me tiene súper emocionada. Por los momentos estamos en los preparativos de la busqueda del lugar para entregar los diplomas, de las personas encargadas de tomar las fotos, de la decoración y muchas cosas más que les iré relatando a medida que vaya pasando todo.

I’m stopping by today to share that my oldest daughter is graduating from elementary school this year and moving on to middle school—time really has flown by.
Over the years, schools here have adopted certain customs from other countries. This is the case with the graduation T-shirt reveal, where a ceremony is held with the students, teachers, and parents. The T-shirt is placed in a completely sealed box, which is then opened to reveal the design. Of course, prior to this, we parents had already chosen the design and everything that was to be written on the T-shirt.
After that, each student is called up, and the representative puts the T-shirt on them. In our case, my husband and I went to the ceremony and put the T-shirt on Anna Paula.
After all the students had gone up, the T-shirts were handed out to the teachers in charge of both grades, and finally to the class mentors. This year, much to the mentor’s surprise, the students chose the man who cleans the school—and it’s important to note that he doesn’t just handle the cleaning; he also knows everyone, is always willing to help them, play with them, and even give them advice. so, personally, I thought it was great that they chose him; during the ceremony, he looked both very happy and moved.
After this formal part, the students went to a room where both classes had a get-together; we, as parents, decided to leave them with their mentors and teachers so they could talk, eat, dance, and have fun for a while.
It was truly a very pleasant time; our kids loved it and enjoyed it to the fullest. It was full of fun, laughter, hugs, and emotion—because there were two girls whose crying really struck me. I don’t know if it was because their families weren’t there, if the person who came to put the T-shirt on them wasn’t their mom, or if she was just very emotional, hahaha, but the truth is, she enjoyed it just the same.
The official graduation ceremony is coming up soon, when my daughter will officially move on to middle school wearing her gorgeous blue shirt—that has me super excited. Right now, we’re busy making arrangements: finding a venue for the ceremony, hiring photographers, planning the decorations, and many other details that I’ll share with you as things unfold.
