Having friends at work makes the job bearable and more fun. Nothing compares to knowing people whom have the same vision as you are. Having friends at work are not necessary but it indeed is a good thing, being able to build a bond with people your work with.
Last Monday, we celebrated the birthdays of our two co-teachers, who became our real life friends. We chose to celebrate it at Tuburan Café located in Antonio Y De Pio National Hwy, Poblacion, Tuburan, Cebu, Philippines.
Tuburan Café is one of the go-to coffee shops here in Tuburan. They serve a wide variety of coffee choices, pasta and pastries.
Before we here, we dropped by at CMD CAKE SHOP located just near our school and we bought a chocolate moist cake for the birthday girls. This cake is for three hundred ninety nine pesos.
The cake dedication says our greetings to our two co-teachers who just celebrated their birthdays.
In Tuburan Café, if you bring a whole cake with you, you cannot eat it inside the café not unless you buy any pastry they sell also. So, we bought this mango cake. It tasted good though.
Here are all the foods we ordered. The prices here are a bit higher than the other cafes here in Tuburan but they serve food that are indeed tasty and worth the price. Just a heads up though, they do not accept Gcash or cashless transactions, so make sure to bring cash with you.
I love their food and ambiance but the fact that they do not accept cashless transactions is such a hassle. Sometimes I fail to bring cash and cashless transactions are almost everywhere, but it is not applicable in this cafe. You have to secure some cash when coming here.
Tuburan Café really serves one of the best-tasting pizzas in town and so as with the drinks they serve. It is indeed worth the price.

In the entire duration of our celebration, we enjoyed sharing so many life stories and school stories while we enjoyed our food.
I love that I get to bond with them even though they are already the same age as with my mother. They treat me as their daughter and they always guide me all the way.
One of my friend is already ten years in the field of teaching. The other one is already seven years and the other one is turning two years soon. They are indeed tenured teachers and I certainly learn a lot from them. Not just school works and paper works, but they provide me with pieces of advice filled with so much wisdom, which I love most about having conversation with matured adults.
These women are the few of the people I genuinely trust and admire in my workplace. They serve as good role models and they are meticulous in doing school works which influences me a lot also. They help be become a better teacher and a better professional.
Today was a day we finally relaxed after a stressful week at work and we enjoyed each other’s company. I highly recommend Tuburan Café if you are looking for a spot to dine in here in the beautiful town of Tuburan.
